Recently discovered Bumpy Snailfish live at around 10,700ft depth of water and were filmed by the MBARI in Monterey in the Mariana trench off California's coast. They have a kind of suction cup on their underbellies (Like lumpfish) that allow then to hitch rides on other fish.
Glazed in my Vampire White Glaze that rests a smooth, glossy white and has occasional small flecks of iron through out
She is about 3.5" wide and about 3.25" tall and hold about 12 fl oz.
As with all my stoneware, she was hand-thrown on the wheel and then altered by adding the eyes and happy smile and such.
She has her name (Superior) , Number (13,380) on the bottom. She is also food safe, dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. She has "Skeletal Dropkick" on the bottom.
