They have to start out as babies at some point, right? Who's the cutest little demon? Who is? It's YOU! Yes it is!

Perfect for spices you want on hand and easily accessible or to hold jewelry.
The Lava finish is not a glaze so much as a textured and layered surface. It is achieved by texturing the clay then applying a layer of red, orange or green slip. I allow that to dry and then apply a black slip. I go over the colored slip underneath to bring out any highlights I want and to make sure I have it all filled in. Then I apply one final coat of black slip and fire it. I fire to cone ten, which means these slips become part of the clay body and remain strong. I use my Ice Black glaze on the inside  to make it food safe and more durable.

He measures about 3.25" across and about 3" tall to the tip of his happy little flame friend. The opening is about 2.75" wide by 1.5" tall.

It was hand-thrown on the wheel and then altered (not like altered like one does to a dog, but altered like eyes and arms added...). He is also food safe, dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. Although, I would be careful with him in the dishwasher as other items may thunk up against him and cause chips. isolate the Balrog in the dishwasher.

He has the Skeletal Dropkick logo, "Made in California, USA" and "Skeletal Dropkick", the name (Sham) and the number (13,597) on the bottom.

  • My dinnerware is fired up to 2,340• F. That is flipping HOT. For comparison, a crematorium only goes to about 1700•F. I also make all my own glazes to ensure there are no harmful ingredients that can leach into your food/drink.
Because of these 2 features, my peices can be put through the dishwasher with no worry, they can be placed in the microwave (although, they will get hot as the food/drink inside heats up) and you can bake in them, making cute little souffles or amazing cobblers.
