Need a little more metal in your life? Of course you do. This one with orange corpse paint. What isn't made better by a little corpse paint?
This mug is thrown from Coleman's Porcelain, a sturdy, high grade porcelain that has a lovely matte look unglazed. The inside of the mug is is glazed in Tempered Blue to match the blue corpse paint
The outside was left unglazed and while it looks incredibly cool, it does stand a chance to pick up a stain if it left with a staining liquid (like coffee, tea, etc) on the outside of it for more than an hour or so. So this mug needs a little more care than my other mugs.
It is, however, still oven, microwave, dishwasher and food safe, so it is totally usable. I have an older panda design in the same porcelain that I have been using for over 6 years, through the dishwasher and it is holding up beautifully.
I make all my own glazes, and strictly avoid carcinogenic and toxic ingredients. It was hand thrown thrown on the wheel and then altered. He has his name (Venturesome) and number (9724) on the bottom as well as the Skeletal Dropkick logo, "Made in California, USA" and my name and the year.
He is about 4" wide by about 3" tall and holds about 12 Fl.Oz.
